RNSG 2310 Professional Practice IX Transitioning into Professional Practice

The purpose of this course is to provide a comprehensive review to include the essential content areas tested on the National Council Licensing Examination for the Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The course will align with the NCSBN 2019 test plan. Fundamental skills and strategies of test-taking will also be addressed. The content will include the four categories in alliance with NCSBN: safe & effective care environment health promotion psychosocial & physiological. Additionally the following concepts will be addressed within the course: nursing process communication documentation client education delegation and culture diversity. The concepts will enhance NCLEX preparation as well as transitioninginto professional practice as a registered nurse. The content will include a preferred adaptive testing mastery examination geared towards the NCLEX-RN exam readiness.
