Program Description
The Apartment Maintenance Technician certificate program will teach students how to perform basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and HVAC maintenance tasks associated with apartments, multifamily housing, and similar facilities; and demonstrate effective skills to work as an entry-level apartment maintenance technician.
This program is not eligible for Federal Financial Aid.

Program Outcomes
1. Students will explain basic concepts, theories, and safety regulations and procedures of refrigeration.
2. Students will use professional tools, which are commonly used in construction trades.
3. Students will explain and apply the theory and application of varying sine wave voltages and current.
4. Students will apply proper repair and maintenance techniques of plumbing fixtures, appliances, and systems.
