Qualify for our Co-enrolled program--earn your GED and a technical certificate at the same time. Graduate with two credentials and double the opportunity.

GED® Preparation

• Free preparation classes for adults 16 and older
• Covers all four GED modules: Reasoning Through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies
• Expert instructors
• TABE assessment to determine your starting point and personalize your plan
• Test at Atlanta Technical College's own Testing Center
• GED test cost: $46 per module / $186 for the full battery
• GEDReady™ practice tests available for $7 each

HiSET® Preparation

• An alternative high school equivalency option to the GED
• Free prep classes through ATC's Adult Education program
• HiSET covers five areas: Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies

• Accepted by employers, colleges, and the U.S. military

Apply online. It's quick and straightforward. You'll need some documents.

Attend Orientation

Come to orientation to learn about the program, meet the team, and get your questions answered. You'll take the TABE assessment here to find the right starting point for you.

Meet With Your Advisor

Sit down one-on-one with an academic advisor who will build a personalized plan — which classes to take, how long it will take, and what comes next after you earn your credential.
