CONGRATULATIONS, it’s commencement time!
You have finished the course and now it is your time to shine.
We are excited to celebrate the accomplishments of Atlanta Technical College’s All-Stars, as it marks a significant milestone for all of them. We want to take this time to recognize the personal drive and determination that has led them to graduation.
Dr. Victoria Seals, President of Atlanta Technical College, and the faculty and staff is proud of your accomplishments and welcome this opportunity to assist you in achieving your educational and career goals.
Applying for graduation is the first step. Candidates must apply for graduation to be awarded and for the graduation status to be indicated on the academic transcript.
APPLICATION FOR GRADUATION
Ready to graduate? Congratulations! Below is the information you will need to know as you plan to graduate.
Deadlines for Graduation Application
· Summer Semester: Application due by June 15
· Fall Semester: Application due by September 15
· Spring Semester: Application due by February 15
To be eligible to graduate with a degree, diploma, or certificate from Atlanta Technical College, a student must:
· Achieve regular program admission status for program.
· Completed all required program/major course requirements.
· Earn a graduation grade point average of 2.0 or higher in their program of study.
· Be in good academic standing without any financial obligations to the college the college.
o Must return all college-owned items (books, laptops, other equipment, etc.)
· Submit to the Registrar’s Office an online Graduation Application (for a degree, diploma, or certificate) at least one semester prior to completion.
o Please note that payment of a non-refundable $40 graduation fee is highly recommended at the time of application submission.
o This fee pays all administrative costs associated with the ceremony including the participation in the ceremony and printing/mailing of diplomas and degrees.
The submission of an application after the Graduation/Commencement Ceremony Deadline of your last semester may prevent your name from being listed in the commencement program. Late applicants may also experience a delay in receiving their degree, diploma, or technical certificate of credit.
