Program Description
Earning a Homeland Security Certificate will emphasize the issues and emerging information and management concepts related to critical homeland security. The program is designed to instruct students on how to prepare for the and respond to natural and man-made disasters and the agencies associated with those duties; provide counter terrorism and law enforcement intelligence support; help secure borders, airports, waterways and seaports by employing the latest use of technology. The program will provide learning opportunities that introduce, develop, reinforce academic and technical knowledge, skill, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.
