LOGI 1110 Trans/Logis Network Design
An introduction to the principles of transportation with emphasis on logistics network design transportation modal and intermodal operations (rail highway air water and pipeline transportation). Consideration is given to logistics strategy within the supply chain logistics planning regulatory framework in logistics and the transportation industry. The role of information technologysuch as transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning(ERP) will introduced in related topics of the course.
