Transportation Management Systems TCC

Program Description (Major Code: TM31)

The Transportation Management Systems Technical Certificate for Credit (TCC) is a sequence of courses that focuses on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in the Supply Chain Management industry. Graduates of the Technical Certificate of Credit in Transportation Management Systems become specialist in planning, execution, and monitoring processes in the transportation industry. The Transportation Management Systems TCC enables graduates to identify the transportation network structures and explain their logistics benefits and costs, service quality, and management concerns. The hands-on exercises have been designed to enable graduates to configure a series of scenarios in respect to transportation planning and optimization, freight tendering, order management, transportation planning, selection of carriers, charge management, regulation and compliance adherence, reviewing international operations, packaging, documenting, and familiarizing with economic issues in international operations.

Admissions Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age
  • Official high school or GED transcript is not required to apply, however, you must complete and provide the official high school or GED transcript as a requirement for graduation. No credential will be awarded until the official transcript is received in the Office of Enrollment Services
  • Achievement of minimum program admission scores in Reading, English, and Math
  • Transfer of previous post-secondary credits will be determined by the Office of Enrollment Services

Student Performance/Graduation Requirements: Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average and complete all required courses to graduate.
