Design and Media Production Specialist TCC

Program Description (Major Code: DAM1)

This one to two semester certificate program focuses on teaching students basic design skills and the two most used software programs in the industry – Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. It is a great way to gauge interest in the field for new students or could be a refresher for working professionals who are using older versions of the software and want to update their skills quickly.

Admissions Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age
  • Completion of high school diploma or GED and submission of official transcript required to apply
  • Achievement of minimum program admission scores in Reading, English, and Math
  • Transfer of previous post-secondary credits will be determined by the Office of Enrollment Services

Student Performance/Graduation Requirements: Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average and complete all required courses to graduate
